ABSTRACT

Using of composits have become widespread in restorative dentistry with groving importance of esthetics and decreasing amount of cavity preperation. Most of these systems differ from earlier resins in the size distribution and types of filler particles used. Improvements in resin-based composite technology have increased the acceptence of this class of materials among dental professionals, particularly for restoring posterior teeth.

The aim of this studuy is to inform about the adhesion mechanisms and the classification of the composites and their use in modern dentistry.
