ABSTRACT
Polyarteritis nodosa is rare in children, and it may present with various clinical features. The diagnosis may be established more easily in the presence of typical cutaneous findings, however it is difficult in the absence of cutaneous involvement. Microaneurysms in renal arteries are typical for polyarteritis nodosa. If polyarteritis nodosa is suspected in the diagnosis, angiographic studies, though invasive, planned toward the affected organ may help make a definite diagnosis. The 12-year-old male patient is herein presented as polyarteritis nodosa is rare in childhood, and it is hard to establish a definite diagnosis of the disease.
