ABSTRACT

Sage is generally used as an expectorant, diuretic, spasmolytic, antimicrobic, antiinflamatory, diaphoretic and antiseptic agent in several clinical conditions. We report a newborn with convulsion which occurred after receiving, accidentally, sage oil orally which was prepared for topical use.
