ABSTRACT
Multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma was defined as a separate subtype of renal cell carcinoma in the 2004 World Health Organization classification of adult kidney tumors. These tumors are rarely seen with a good prognosis and comprise approximately 1 to 2% of all renal tumors. There are scarce data about its clinical signs and symptoms in the literature. In this article we report a 57-year-old woman with multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma whose radiological workup and serologic findings mimic isolated renal hydatid cyst.
