ABSTRACT
The women with mitral stenosis who are at risk for developing heart failure can not tolerate pregnancy. Recently, it was reported that balloon mitral valvuloplasty can be performed safely in the pregnant women with heart failure. In this report, we present a pregnant case of mitral stenosis with symptoms of left heart failure at the 30th week and treated successfully by mitral balloon valvuloplasty; consequently, the patient had no complication and delivered a healthy baby.
