ABSTRACT
Although tonsillectomy is a minor surgical intervention, life threatening complications rarely may associate it. Hemorrage following tonsillectomy is seen more often in adults than pediatric population. In this case report the successful anesthesiological and surgical management of a patient who was taken to surgery for bleeding control on the 10th day after tonsillectomy is presented and discussed reviewing the literature.
