The percentage of women who use the withdrawal method as a birth control method any time in their life was 68.6%. Fourteen point four percent of these women was still using the withdrawal method by that time. The percentage of getting pregnant while using the withdrawal method was 38.1%. The percentage of getting pregnant in women who went to school less than five years was 63.3%. On the other hand for the women whose education level was more than twelve years, getting pregnant while using coitus interruptus was 12.3%. Although modern contraception methods are currently present, the withdrawal method is still an important method in our country.
