ABSTRACT
Our work’s aim is detecting the medical urgent condition code systems that we are planning to practice at GATA Military Medical Faculty Training Hospital, and revealing the personnel’s condition of preparedness. In the study, a survey is conducted to 200 participators from 4 different occupational groups and a drill is done to evaluate the in-hospital medical emergency ambulance team's response time. In consequence of the study, the attendance ratio is found to be low in the courses of cardiopulmonary resuscitation applications. By evaluating “first savior” cardiopulmonary resuscitation numbers in the last 1 year accordingly the occupational groups, it is suggested that nurses should be come into prominence during the applications in the hospital. It is put forward that cardiopulmonary resuscitation medicine and equipments are not present in sufficient amount in hospital clinics and some proportion of the participators do not have the enough experience to use of the stated medicines and equipments. In consequence of the study, when compared with the other medical emergency cases, it is primarily suggested that the response procedure for the existing cardiopulmonary arrest cases should be improved in the way that it covers all in-hospital arrest cases and uses existing in-hospital emergency ambulance facilities.
