ABSTRACT

Facial prostheses are one of the effective routes of restoration of the defects caused by cancer, trauma or other reasons. The construction of the prosthesis is an exhausting process both for the physician and patient. The characteristics of the materials used in the construction of facial prostheses play a major role in the success of the prothesis. In this case report we aimed to present the clinical factors affecting the survival time of the former prostheses of two patients who admitted to our clinic in order to have a new prosthesis.
