ABSTRACT
Chronic wounds, which are often overlooked, is an important health problem. There are several local and systemic factors that effects wound healing. Therefore, a patient with a wound should be evaluated as a whole and the management of the patient should follow the same approach. Management of a patient with a chronic wound requires close cooperation of physicians and other health care workers from related departments. In this review, we presented the multidisciplinary approaches of different departments, which have a role in the management of chronic wounds, as complementing each other.
