ABSTRACT
Esthetics and retention are two features that need to be in the first place when fabricating a facial prosthesis. In patients with midfacial defects, a restoration with the combination of an obturator and facial prosthesis might be preferred. Although introduction of implant application presents a significant possibility for the retention of a facial prosthesis, challenges towards the limited use of implants direct the clinician to the utilization of magnetic retention. In this case report two similar cases with a facial prosthesis fabricated by the integration of orbital prosthesis and obturator via magnetic attachments are presented.
