ABSTRACT

Pyogenic infections of the sacroiliac joint is extremely rare, and the most common causative microorganisms are S.aureus, streptococci, and P.aeruginosa in intravenous drug abusers. In this study a very rare case of sacroiliitis developing due to Salmonella typhi is reported.
