Aim:

To present our center’s experience of AVNRT ablation with two-catheter ablation technique.

Methods and Results:

276 patients with the diagnosis of typical AVNRT were finally included into the study. Slow pathway ablation was performed with twocatheter ablation technique. Successfull ablation was obtained in 275 patients (99.6%). The procedure and fluoroscopy times were 48 ± 4.5 and 15.3 ± 3.2 minutes, respectively. Complications occurred in 7 (2.5%) patients. None of the ablations were resulted in complete AV block requiring pacemaker.

Conclusion:

Two-catheter AVNRT ablation technique could be performed with shorter fluoroscopic and total procedural times, less complication rates and low cost; therefore could be regarded as quick, safe and cost-effective treatment modality with experienced operators.
