The Principles of Surgery Intensive Care Nursing

The Principles of Surgery Intensive Care Nursing should be considered in parallel with the dynamical, changing and improving role of intensive or critical care. Nursing activities should be arranged taking the meanings of the letters in the word "CARE" into consideration. C:Clinical A:Administrative R:Research E:Education. For these principles to be reached in relation with the needs of the patients, is necessary intensive care units to be based on structural and organizational aspects, Zurich and John Hopkins University Hospitals have been trying to provide suitable working conditions for intensive care nurses. Also in our country, some significant changes on organizing the intensive care units in terms of their structurks and nursing activities are seen.
