Infection is a serious complication after the surgical procedure for salvage of upper extremity wounded by an animal bite. A 21-year-old male patient was admitted with ischemic symptoms of right upper extremity after a pig bite near his elbow. A saphen vein graft was interposed to the brachial artery. Unfortunately, graft was occluded by thrombosis related to infection after two days, and many surgical procedures were performed to the patient for limb salvage. Finally an extra-anatomic bypass was performed from axillary artery to ulnar and radial arteries out of the bite area. The wounded area was left for secondary healing. This case is discussed in detail in this article.
