Modern healthcare systems use many advantages of information and communication technologies in order to increase the quality and the quantity of the healthcare providers. In the healthcare organizations, nurses constitute the largest group using clinical information. Use of new technologies and electronic record systems are important in developing the knowledge in nursing practices. The aim of this article is to demonstrate the use of electronic patient record systems in clinical medicine and the relationship between nursing practices and computer.
