Tuboovarian torsion at second trimester pregnant women : A Case report

The diagnosis of tubo-ovarian torsion in pregnancy period is important. Because, symptoms associated with this complication is vague. Particularly, these symptoms in second and third trimester, confusion could expose.In this article, the tubo-ovarian torsion case of a 22 weeks pregnant women offering progressive lower abdominal pain associated with anorexia and nausea was presented. The patient was performed laparatomy and the necrotic mass was removed. In such cases, tubo-ovarian necrosis happened by cause delayed at its diagnosis Eventually, the diagnosis of this complication is to need special attention.
