Percutaneous drainage was rather used for decompression of hydronephrosis in the excretion system. However in the last 30 years with the improvements of new radiologic techniques; we also succeeded in stone capture, stent placement, uroplasty, treatments of fistulas and urinomas without surgery. The treatment of the obstructive uropathy developed as a result of the tumours developed in the pelvic region are also treated well.Percutaneous drainage and the interventional procedures performed by this way are also easier and non-invazive than the open techniques.
