We aimed in this study to determine our normal values of pattern visual evoked potential test. Pattern visual evoked potential test was administered to healthy and 8 to 59-year-old subjects who have full visual acuities in the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Ophthalmology Department of Gulhane Military Medical Academy. Results were evaluated on the basis of three age groups (8 to 19, 20 to 39 and 40 to 59). Pattern visual evoked potential recordings were obtained by using five different check sizes in order to objectively determine the different levels of visual acuity. All the recordings were made using the recommended standards of International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV). An emphasis was made that every laboratory should have its normal values in its own laboratory environment.
